Have you thought that one day you would become a parent when the time was right and now that you are ready you never dreamed it would be this difficult?
Unfortunately, most couples don’t realise there is a problem until they are ready to have a baby. If you have been trying to conceive or carry to term, you are not alone. I am here to support you along your fertility journey, whether you plan to conceive naturally or with the help of IUI or IVF as the goal is always the same – a healthy baby.
How can a Naturopathic Doctor support my fertility?
Dr. Meaghan Froese is a naturopathic doctor that focuses in fertility. Naturopathic doctors can support you in optimizing your chances of conceiving and carrying to term, whether you choose to do this naturally or with the help of IUI or IVF. Individualized treatment plans can help support:
Egg quality
Sperm health
Restore ovulation and regular cycling
Promote implantation
Prevent miscarriage and recurrent pregnancy loss
Balance hormones and improve thyroid function
Reduce inflammation and oxidation (the reason we take antioxidants)
IUI and IVF support
Treat the cause of your infertility or recurrent pregnancy loss
Preconception support
Increase thickness of the uterine lining
What to expect
As a Naturopathic Doctor I am able to spend quality time with my patients. This allows me to better understand your health and uncover the potential underlying causes of your fertility challenges. The first visit is 75 minutes and includes a full health history and assessment. This often includes a requisition for bloodwork to help determine which health conditions may be impacting your fertility. At the end of the first visit, you will receive a treatment plan specific for you. This may include supplements, herbs, diet or lifestyle recommendations, a hormonal prescription, or additional therapies.
When in my fertility journey should I see a Naturopathic Doctor?
A naturopathic doctor can support you in any stage of your fertility journey, whether you have already begun trying to grow your family or are planning to try for the first time and want to optimize your fertility.
It takes about 90 days for an egg and for sperm to fully mature. This means it takes approximately 3-4 months for our treatments to take full effect, however, we can make a positive impact sooner.

There are many conditions that contribute to fertility challenges. As a Naturopathic Doctor, I am here to support which ever challenge or condition you may be facing. Below is a list of some of the common causes of infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss.
